STRENGTH/ POWER TRAINING

Strength underpins all athletic abilities. An athlete must first be able to express force prior to being able to express force in a short time frame (as required in sports). During our evaluation process, we record an athlete’s baseline strength measures relative to body weight and sport need and design a program to maximize the athlete’s strength/power to help improve athletic performance.

RECOVERY/ PHYSICAL THERAPY

Our 11,000-square foot training center comes complete with a 3,500-square foot physical therapy department, with a fully licensed staff of DPTs, and two full recovery rooms consisting of Normatech boots, massage guns and cold tubs. Our staff works hand-in-hand with the DPTs to ensure appropriate injury prevention measures, return-to-sport, and the highest level of recovery for our athletes.

SPEED

As sports have evolved to be become a faster game, speed in both a linear sense and in the ability to decelerate and change direction has become some of the most important qualities to develop. We approach speed in multitude of ways from both a mechanics/coordination standpoint, as well as underlying force production. We utilize our 1080 sprint technology to both profile athletes and identify, as well as deliver, the most needed stimulus to get them faster.

BRIDGE/ RETURN-TO-PLAY

Our wholistic approach utilizing sports science, objective data & research, and physical therapy evidence, combined with strength and conditioning principles and nutrition values, provide athletes an ideal environment to return to sport from injury. With our featured amenities, we are able to bridge athletes from the treatment table back to competitive sport with confidence.

OUR MISSION

Our goal in establishing Professional Care Athletic Performance was to provide local athletes a place to train that encompassed all facets of sports performance training under one roof. Our team strives to provide our athletes with customized programs rooted in

high-quality, evidence-based training that is tailored to each athlete’s specific needs. These programs are designed based upon our comprehensive athlete evaluation. All evaluation factors are considered (from the athlete’s age, training experience, available time to train, strengths/weaknesses, athletic goals, and movement quality) and are customized to peak with the athlete as their season begins. Each program focuses on:

  • Linear speed development

  • Multi-directional speed/agility training

  • Strength/power training

  • Plyometrics

  • Conditioning/energy systems development

  • Injury prevention

  • Nutritional programming

  • Body composition
